Daniyal Modern School

"Daniyal Modern School was more than just an institution—it was a second home. I vividly remember the warmth of morning assemblies where we began our day with duas and motivational words from our principal. The Science Lab, where I first dissected a flower under a microscope, sparked my love for biology. The teachers, especially Ms. Arshia nurtured my curiosity and guided me with patience. Today, I still carry the values of compassion and dedication that the school instilled in me."

"At Daniyal Modern, I was introduced to computers when floppy disks were still in use. I recall participating in the school’s first inter-class coding competition and winning it—it felt like winning a Nobel Prize! The environment was faith-driven yet progressive, and the emphasis on discipline and academic excellence pushed me to aim high. I owe much of my professional mindset to the structured learning and moral grounding I received there."

"The first time I ever spoke in front of an audience was during a debate competition in Class 9 at Daniyal Modern School. That day gave me the confidence to pursue CA. The school was a place where Islamic values and leadership training went hand in hand. I remember helping organize Eid celebrations with my classmates—those events were full of joy, food, and community spirit. That sense of unity stays with me even in courtrooms today."

"It was in the school's computer lab where I learned how to build my first spreadsheet, under the guidance of Mr. Sajjad. What started as simple curiosity grew into a profession. I also fondly remember the school’s annual Quran recitation competitions. It taught me discipline, memorization techniques, and confidence—skills I later applied in academics and research. Daniyal Modern School truly prepared me for life in both this world and the next."

"At Daniyal Modern, knowledge was never just about textbooks. We were taught how to be good humans first. My fondest memory is spending time in the serene library corner, reading Islamic history books recommended by our Ustad. The Friday moral value sessions, where we discussed Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) life, deeply shaped my worldview. Today, as a Teacher, I try to recreate that same nurturing environment for my students."

As a proud member of the first batch of Daniyal Modern School, I am deeply grateful for the invaluable opportunities it provided me to discover my talents, embrace my true self, and build the confidence to dream big. Among all the educational institutions I have been part of, Daniyal Modern School stands out as the one that truly nurtured my outgoing and sociable nature—qualities that have been instrumental in shaping my successful career.

"Daniyal Modern was where my creative spirit was born. I still remember painting murals for the annual art day and being praised by the principal himself! I also loved participating in nashid (Islamic nasheed) contests—they helped build my voice and my courage. The freedom to explore, along with the values of humility and respect, shaped me into the professional artist I am today."

"I was one of those curious kids who always asked too many questions, and Daniyal Modern never discouraged that. In fact, my teachers encouraged me to dig deeper, research, and present findings—even if they were outside the syllabus. I still remember our school’s Science Fest, where I displayed a volcano model. That spark of innovation, nurtured early on, is what led me to create Nova lighting concepts."

This is Sayeema Nayeem, a proud alumna of our beloved school, 2009 batch, and now a successful Physiotherapist. I owe my journey to my parents, teachers, and especially our principal, who always encouraged us to dream big. I vividly remember declaring in 8th grade that I wanted to see "Doctor" in front of my name. Alhamdulillah, with Allah's grace, my parents' prayers, and my teachers' guidance, I have achieved this goal.
